What is happening guys ?

We have one RB 232 Access point and one station . Problem that on access point signal appears on back side but not antenna side. According examples of Mikrotik all station must be direct to Access point . Our access point without direction each other not working.
How it will work if we will have any building between routers ? Where is trouble ? Why external antenna not working? I sent supout file to Mikrotik but I did’t received required answer.
Please help .

take a look at the antenna mode , it can be set to ant-a & ant-b this may help u.

We changed antenna but we could’t get a effect ,unfortunatelly :frowning:
What else we can do ?

In wireless configuration change the antenna-mode from ant-a to ant-b, or visa versa. Maybe you have the pigtail on the wireless card connected to AUX? Like proxy said above…

Sam

What type of wireless card are you using? I have noticed some types of card can only transmit from one antenna connector. Also check the pigtails as the Ufl connectors are very easy to accidentally damage.

Thank you for your answer . Tomorrow I am going to test it again. I will post all the result and also answer to all question.

Guys I noticed as you said there one thin pigtail connected in motherboard like this :

What must I do ?

Guys my wireless card’s name is RouterBoard RD 52 . IS there any problem with this card ?

:frowning:

I guess, R52 wireless card.
R52 wireless cards works fine.
Well, for antenna-mode=ant-a, you have to connect antenna pigtail to the inside connector (that is closer to the wireless card center), for antenna-mode=ant-b connect pigtail to another connector.

Thank you to all and especial thanks to Sergejs. It realy helped me.
