what is the best choice for me?

Now at this moment I have 4 locations.
One Main location where I have a Onmitik and at the thee other locations I have an SXT (all 5GHZ).
On the SXT’s I use the Ether interface for link to a network at that location.
On the Omnitik I use 1 Ether interface for a linkt to the network switch and I use 1 ether port for a link to a device.

No I think the Omnitik is a botleneck because it had only 100Mbit ports and on my SXT’s I have Gigabit ports.
On the Switch at the main building (where the Omnitik is located I allso have all ports on the switch gigabit.

In the past I bought the ominitik because it has 2 antenna’s and is sending all around.
I need this because the main location is the middle point of all other locations.

What is best device to replace the Ominitik?

Hi 49er

Do you really need more than 100mbps throughput? In theory that router is capable (as limited by ethernet ports) of 100mbps down + 100mbps up, 200mbps total throughput. Realistically you should easily get 90mbps, depending on interference on the wireless side.

At the moment you don’t have anything in the range of a OmniTik, but you could consider a dual polarised Omni from Ubiquity, and bundle it with a RB912G Outdoor AP. Just check with your vendor if the Ubiquity flyleads will be long enough to reach from the Omni to the RB912G Outdoor AP.

Please note, you get the RB912G in a Outdoor AP option or just the board without the plastic enclosure. I prefer the board that comes with the enclosure it it has 2x SMA connectors on the RB itself.
