depending on your device you also need to install the proper package in order for its radio to function:
- legacy wifi: add wireless package
- arm-based ac device (most of them): wireless package for legacy wifi or wifi-qcom-ac for wave2 drivers
- ax devices: wifi-qcom package for wave2 drivers and AX capability
