I have 8 RB411U’s ROSv5 with Sprint 3G WANs on vehicles. What is the easiest way to keep track of them.
I have DuDe on a Win7 box connected to an MT ROS v5 on a DHCP data line, and I have DynDNS account available.
I am looking for a reliable way to monitor and support the Mobile MT boxes.
Any ideas to get me started on the right path would be appreciated.
You can run a pptp client on 3g routers connecting to your routerboard vpn server. There is a script to update your dyndns address.
This working perfect with me, no NAT not port forwarding.
Seems to be a good idea, and should prove better than trying to set up a script to email in the open. Looks like I will have to get a better board for myself… ah shucks… Thanks.
