2.9.51 is the newest for 2.9
3.16 is the newest for v3.
MikroTik.com download page containt the latest software version.
You can safely upgrade to v3.16, but then also upgrade the Bootloader (after RouterOS is v3.16, issue command “/system routerboard upgrade”)
ive updated the firmware to 2.11, im using routerboard 133c. What version must i download? the 2.51 or 3.16? I tried both but in the logs it says system error can not install icd02.9.51: it is not made for mipsel, but for i386. what now?
because you have to install the RB133 version, instead of the X86 version. Go to mikrotik.com download page, choose your model, and download 3.16 from there:

no, you also have the ability to download older version. just pick from “Select software type” dropdown
i had to remove the routerboard. The routerboard was working fine but suddenly it did not pick up the r52 mini card. Now it does not detect it. I dnt know if the board got static, it cannot be possible becos the board was in a waterproof encloser.
But you can only download the versions that you display there.
e.g. 2.9.51, 3.13 and 3.17
I’d need other versions as well, not to say the complete list of it.
why? use only the ones on the webpage
