Today I have bought a RouterBoard 750GL, and this is my first contact with Mikrotik products. I have used telnet to connect to router, and the first thing I tried is to use “reset all router configuration” option. The problem I am facing is. after executing this option, I am unable to access router anymore. DHCP service stops working, setting manually IP address in range 192.168.88.x doesn’t work also, WInBox is sensing a 0.0.0.0 IP address, but cannot connect to it. The only solution I found is to reset router using the reset button.
Why I cannot connect to router after /setup r, and what steps I need to take to be able to connect to it?
Also, I see that there is a new version of OS (5.
. How do I know if I am eligible to update the OS? When I bought this product, with it came RouterOS licence Level 4.
