What is the practical difference between cAP lite and cAP?

Specifically:

RBcAPL-2nD vs RBcAP2nD

I can see no practical difference between the two??

Is it not hilarious how many SKUs they have? I hope they retire them soon. I’m trying to see the difference because you asked. The price?

Lite can be powered with MicroUSB the non Lite version only PoE.
The other difference is in antenna gain 1.5dBi (lite) vs 2dBi.
Also Lite comes with 2 cases where non Lite just one…

0.5DB better gain is what, 15% better? That doesn’t seem warranted for the price hike.

Did anyone actually compared the two, are there photographs of boards themselves somewhere? I worked extensively with cAP lite and those little things are powerful.

Pride. Do I want people to know I drink lite beer or use caplite products.
Nope, so I use CapaC and drink real beer too.

I have both. The cap is much larger and works much better - higher transfer. I think it has two ethernet ports as well. It’s just a much better product.
