36Mbps:24,48Mbps:22,54Mbps:18
its good setting or not ?
its work from 2 week only …but i dont know if it is good setting or not .
If you are using different types of cards, the settings would probably work with a 500mw card, but if you try those settings with a lower power card like the R52, it will fail.
Thanks SurferTim
but i read here if i put 17 that mean 26 dbi !!
am using 433 + 411 version 3.23
i dont know if its write or wrong when i but 26dbm my card yes 500MW …
I presume a Ubiquiti model. They are known for the power setting offset. Last time I checked, their high power cards (model SR2) had a 10db offset. 17db in the power setting would be 27db at the radio.
Hi normis! That is a good idea, but not always practical, or in some of my setups, not always legal. I turn the power down, not up. Most of my setups need more power than an R52, but not the max power of an R52H.
thanks normis for your comment .. but when i put the power manual i has no interference my mode (B&G) i don’t know why that’s happen …but that really happen with me…
one more thing i have one mini pci ((AR5006X 802.11abg )) when i put it default its give me the same result like my old manual setting …
You are also changing the wireless setting “tx-power-mode”, correct? In the CLI, you don’t see this setting unless you use “print advanced”.
I agree with normis for most situations. If you can use the default settings, I recommend doing so.
