Hello,
I have two RB751U (ROS 6.39.3), and EoIP with ipsec tunnel between them.
When i copy file over tunnel, i see 75% “unclassified” cpu usage:

Hello,
As you may have seen, the web page is pretty vague about that and “unclassified” is a bin bucket for everything not previously defined.
So our you don’t see stuff like routing or firewall, then we could guess that, for you, it could be tunneling or encryption.

If you see unclassified load on CPU over 5%, then generate suput file while load is present and send such file to support@mikrotik.com. We will try to figure out which process is this and give a name for it.

Please, explain. 5% on each CPU or 5% total ? We use CCR1036 with 36 cores, total unclassified load is not so much, but unclassified per one core may be 15 or 20%.
I suspect they mean 5% per CPU core. It doesn’t hurt to submit, anyway. However, they may be less likely to do something about this now since RouterOS 7 is getting closer to stable release.
Technically, 5% on each core will result in 5% total as well. Similarly as having 20% on 9 cores out of 36 core processor will result in the same 5% total. If the unclassified appears on 1-2 cores out of all 36, then it isn’t realy bothersome.
