What config do you guys use for gaming?

My environment is as follow?
Bandwidth: Fibre 10/5mbps
Users: Only me.
Priority: Gaming
Hardware: RB2011UAiS-2hnd
Topology: ISP-ONT-RB2011-Ruckus AP
Wireless Needed: NO, the router will not deal with the wireless, it will be switched off.
Gaming PC on LAN GEther 7
WAN Port GEther 6
Firewall Needed: Yes
Either QoS or Fasttrack/Fastforward or both if possible.If needed.
Email on error/critical.
IP Range: 192.168.55.0/24
VLAN 10 : 10.10.10.0/24
VLAN 20: 10.20.20.0/24



Other miscellaneous config I will do by myself.
Just can’t seem to get the Mikrtotik to work as well as my TP-Link Router.
Not familiar with mangle and policy config. Still need to do all the other training. Have MTCNA and MTCRE but does not help much with policies etc.

You didn’t state your bandwidth, but generally the RB2011 is not fast enough. Use the hAP AC2 or RB4011. Then you can throw QoS rules at it and it won’t bog down under load.

Ah damn, it’s just a 10mbps down and 5mbps up fibre.
Im the only user.
The 2011 and few other RB’s like the 941/951 has been laying around in my flat. Now I would like to use it.
The 4011 is crap expensive.
With all the Routers laying around in my place ranging from Tplink, Asus, Netgear and Ubiquiti, I thought I can give thw 2011 a shot because the company i worked for is a Distributor for mikrotik and i ended up with a bunch of routers as presents haha.
The Ruckus AP is AC 2.4/5ghz. The Mikrotik will not deal with the AP side of things.
