What modulation and rate for 40clients and noisy environment

Hi I am searching what is the best solution to provide 10Mbps downstream to 40 clients attached to a basebox 5 in NV2 within 4km in a noisy environment.
So I would have some opinion for the choice of MCS.

you are brave gui, if trying to feed 10mbit/s to 40 clients. i think max clients in your situation is 20 with 40Mhz channel

I meant 10Mbps calculated with statistical multiplexing…
But I would to maximize the bandwith

try HT MCS 12 or HT MCS 13 with auto tdma on ROS 6.19 (6.25) with wireless fp package.
signalstrength should not be worse than -70 (all in range 60-70)

So if I’ve some interferences 16QAM is better than QPSK?

I would to maximize the bandwidth per sector.

No, the QPSK is better in environments with interference than QAM Try it:

1 - Set only mode ( Only N or A)
2 - In rate set only QPSK , i use MCS9
3 - Enable package wireless fp
4 - Set tx power in default mode (depends on the situation)


I have had good results here.
