What protocol needed to foward internet over mesh?

Hello and good holidays to all,

Im using 2 435Gs each with 2 r52Hns. Ive established a link over the mesh but i only get internet connectivity when connected to the ap that the backhaul is plugged into. What protocol should i utilize to allow client devices connected to either ap to pass internet traffic across the mesh link?

Hello again all,

So i realized i needed to use HWMP+ in proactive mode to achieve the desired result.

Is there a way to aggregate across the mesh the total bandwidth available from multiple portals?

I want individual portal units each supporting its own stand alone client ap to be able to utilize the resources of other portals in the mesh for its clients if its own portal becomes 100% utilized.

Any thoughts on the feasibility or methodology that could make this work will be very much appreciated
