What type of capacitor rb112 please?

Hi,

I got a second hand rb112 and one of the capacitors was broken off in shipping and I am capable of repair but wondered exactly what make it was to make sure the fix is good.

105 c
180 uf
63 v

Can anybody at MT say what brand etc and any further info as a suitable replacement?

Any capacitor of equal or higher voltage, and equal or higher capacity should work. Make sure the replacement is soldered in with the same polarity. Bad things happen when electrolytic capacitors are hooked up backwards.

Thanks, thats basically what I thought but I did not want to risk the stability of the device if there was a specific need.

I have also lost a capacitor at c58 and one leg broke off. The markings are:
100
6s.
6p3

I would appreciate a replacement capacitor value to use.

It’s 100uF 6,3V capacitor in SMD package.You can use any through hole capacitor with similar value.Conect negative pole to mounting hole side.
