Wow. I thought this would be a popular thing for people to know… Do you mind sharing? SImply login to your router using putty or whatever and run a few pings to the other side of the link. Let it go for 10-20 pings.

I’ll start (although the link is temp. down - heavy winds misaligned antennas)


Distance: 12.5 Miles
latency: approx 1ms (up to 5-7 under load)
Equipment: Routerboard 600 xr5 - rb433 r52hn
Antennas: 26.5 Dbi grid - 32.6 Dbi parabolic (ask me how aiming went :open_mouth: )
Gen Config: Nstreme, Max Frame limit 1600, Disable CSMA, Polling = On, Half Bandwidth channel (10Mhz), Conntrack=OFF
Signal: -63 average -67 during “fading”

Is the latency question only for NV2 or is for all wireless protocols ( NV2, Nstream, 802.11) as the poll results don’t state which is used?
