the improvment available in 6.33 for 802.11ac when will be ready for NV2???
MT??? We are going to be very unconfortable about the wireless performance in ptmp scenario.

nv2 isn’t ideal for ptmp usage.
its provide better efficiency(latency, throughput, etc) for p2p narrow bridges, backhaul, etc.
L1 and L2 issues is imminent otherwise and things woking “far from optimal” in result.
80mhz is not working on u vendor on ptmp, so is not only a mikrotik problem at least on ptmp
some people thinks 80mhz on a ptmp setup monopolizes spectrum in the area of coverage
i think the way to increase capacity will be using more directional clients and sectors to improve signal and reduce interference improving datarates and ccq, using more sectors to increase capacity and improving installations to avoid close equipment interference.
the gains from migrate to ac will be valuable but not the most important factor to improve capacity

I agree!! but there is too much difference between nstream and nv2 in a ptmp cases, at 20mhz, not 80mhz.
nstream is unstable and with latency to much impacted by the load of the ap.
Nv2 should be more reliable but impacted too much on tcp single stream.

+1 we need update for NV2
The Dude finally got an upgrade
Who knows we might even see an upgrade for NV2 (fingers crossed
)
congestion issues with TCP is propose for ECN adoption, DCTP,(STCP even ?
and other stuff ( 1723/timestamps? further windows scaling range ?).
also “active” queues are do Lot help, like ARED and especially RRED and -alikes.
