I upgraded our ccr1072 to the new software version of 7.7 and i lost my traffic flow. I went to downgrade and it wont let me but i noticed in the system packages that i only have one package in there now that just says routeros 7.7. I used to have a bunch of packages now they are all gone. Any suggestions as to what might have happened. I had upgraded plenty of times on the version 6 software and this has never happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You read, at least, all changelog and forum posts about v7?
No more standard packages.
For example you can not disable useless hotspot, wireless and ppp packages on simple vlan switch.
No dozen of old features that MikroTik staff do not consider relevant for go on pair with old v6, like BGP and user-manager, etc.
No more user-manager, the new toy has only the name of the old user-manager.
Etc.
It’s like install Windows 11 over Windows 10, and you do not have anymore the taskbar…

Well ^%$^#%$^&. I read change log but didnt see anything about no more traffic flow. I have tried to downgrade and every time it is still on 7.7. I upload the tile routeros to the file list and then go to system packages and downgrade but it never went back. UGH!!!
For go back use netinstall 7 and routeros-tile-6.49.7,
at this time is all screwed.
P.S.: v7 Backups do not work as expected, imported on v6.
If on future you want go again on v7, use netinstall.
My firmware is at v7.7 will that take that down also?

Sweet i fixed the traffic flow. The original config in version 6 had a source ip adresss of 0.0.0.0 which worked in that software version. Now in version 7.7 the source ip address was 0.0.0.0 and didnt work, but when i changed it to the routers actual ip address it started to send the flow.
