We bought a handfull of RB532. They have been installed with AR5211 in 5 GHz turbo mode (no nstreme) and working well - considering still in beta.
However, we are missing the transparent proxy, which we are normally using for high level routing.
When do we get it back ???

I don’t think web proxy is available on the RouterBoards because there isn’t enough storage memory to save the cached pages/files.
How come, that I don’t get an “official” reply ??? Is it so, that the relatively low price for an RB500 includes a severe limitation in use ???
We certainly would like to know ???

yes there is no webproxy and there is no UPS, write to support if you really need them, we can send you a separate package. whalen is right, it is because there is no disk for webproxy, so you don’t need it on RB500.
