Where is the Firmware Loading in WInbox 4.1

New to this. Looking for the Firmware button in Winbox 4.1. I went to System and did not see a Firmware button. Trying to load both the Kernel and ARDEN files. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

First you have to distinguish between routeros and firmware when using Mikrotik devices.
and you will find firmware upgrade under System and Routerboard

Thanks for your reply. I connected to the device via 192.168.88.1, went to System>Routerboard as you suggested. No Firmware option seen.

You can only upgrade already loaded firmware from ROS upgrade from System/RouterBoard menu.
No way to upload just firmware. You have to upload whole ROS version and then it allows upgrade/downgrade to proper for ROS version.

Ok, the project here is to load the AREDN firmware. I know that I need to load the kernel firmware first, then the AREDN program.

The documented steps for AREDN on MikroTik don’t use Winbox at all. I’ve never done this myself, but it appears to hijack the NetInstall machinery. You therefore won’t use the actual netinstall programs, either.

This is borderline off-topic here. Actual expertise should be easier to find on the AREDN user support outlets.
