in this situation (attachment), where should I set proxy-arp in order to reach the ap’s in the end? (the part inside the orange lines is repeted 4 times from the switch)
I already tried several configs, but I can’t make it work ok
the problem is, in the router (10.0.0.1) is the pppoe server and behind the ap’s in the end are the
clients, later I must replace the private ip’s for a public pool, all the routers in the way act as
brdiges with a managment vlan(172.16.0.0/21) and a a pppoe vlan, the ap’s in the end (ubnt rockets)
don’t support vlans so for now I must set an ip of the pppoe subnet in order to reach it…
FWIW, I use some UBNT bullets and you can do VLANs, just not through the web interface. Just make a script that runs. Have WDS working w/ a management VLAN on them and the ethernet port bridged to another vlan of the WDS.
