Which Chain is Best in 2.4ghz

Hello ,

I have RB433ah with R52Hn . i wanna use 2.4ghz . R52Hn have to MMCX connectors , i just wanna use one antenna for 2.4ghz . Now My Question is Which Chain is best for One Antenna in R52Hn 2.4ghz ?

With only 1 antenna use chain0.

I m actually using only 1 antenna but on chain 1 have best perfomance, that using chain 0, can you help me explaning reason you have to recommend chain 0.

Chain 0 is required to be on for the radio to operate (must at least listen). Chain 1 is optional. If you have chain 0 disconnected and use chain 1 you can damage the card.

There should be no difference in the performance between the two chains. If there is perhaps the card is already damaged.

The two chains are used for MIMO with N protocols or antenna diversity with other protocols.

i m using both chains . But i phase a problem . Signal drops . Speed Stuck off . Signal off & on . Guys Help me Why this problem come ..

Do a RF scan and pick a channel that has the least use and try that.

Thanks, for explanation, but I’m using only chain 1 and chain 0 is deactivated on HT options, I decide use chain 1, because when scan signals are much beeter than using chain 0, minipci board is a Mikrotik R2N, and this is possible set up with compex MIMO models too.
