Tried multiple USB drives and -sticks without sucess. Only CF worked so far.
Please advise which USB flash drives (for the web proxy cache offload basically) would work with the CCR1036. thanks!
Did you format them in RouterOS? Any USB drive should work.
For good results you would want something with low-latency writes, so the io won’t slow down the proxy process itself “too much”.
Thanks, I have now a nice and fast new Samsung T5 1TB USB drive and it doesn’t show up as drive, hence I cannot even format it. I do format the drive with FAT32. I tried multiple other storage drives on the CC1036 but none really work. CF only worked from time-to-time.
Not sure if the USB drivers are properly loading. Can I reload the USB drivers somehow?
On some RB you can do USB power cycle, but thats same as re-plugging it.
