I have Mikrotik routerOS v4.10 with hotspot on intel PC.
I am connecting outdoor AP to PC and I have a repeater somewhere elese in the city.
there are two possible configeration:
1-set the device that is connected to the Mikrotik router to AP1. The other device is set to client mode with a repeater. This mean that the second device client and AP. In this mode, in winbox, you see all client connected to the second AP with the same mac address. The signal strength is stronger in this mode.
2- The second way, you set both device as AP+WDS. In this way, each client appears with his own mac address.
Which of those method more stable internet connection?
