A:I have 5 ubnt2.4Ghz antennas and 2 rb433AH each have 3 minipci cards & Antennas.
All of this antennas LAN (Ether) is in a RB1100AH from ether1-7 and I bridged this ports. a PPPOE server is running on RB1100AH.
is this method is true? or I should use same PPPOE servers on each ETHER ports?
B: These RB433AH All in access point mode and customers connected them with Routerboard SXT. WLANS and ether1 is bridged and in RSTP mode. When PPPOE clients (on SXTs) trying to connect to PPPOE server at core router (RB1100AH) trough this APs, they will connect to PPPOE Server and Authenticate by Radius successfully but they can’t ping the PPPOE server local address or other resources in network! until 3 days ago they worked great but when i upgrade the routers to ROS 5.6 this problems happened and i downgrade all things to 5.5 but problems is still …
A-to avoid broadcasts, it is betterto bind a different pppoe server to each eth
I thinks so, but when i want to access each antenna for configuration, needs to bridge it’s ether port with my ether port!
B-
I did downgrade the router to ros 5.5 and reset system to factory settings (system-reset-conf…) and configed it again, then it worked!
i forgot to export router configuration in 5.5 & 5.6 and compare them together!
it mused me.
