You also need a radio…
Yes. MaNT30 can deliver but its always good for p2mp Rather use dynaDish, can deliver 45km.

Dear INOX,
Can u suggest any model…
Yes You can also use maNT30 but it’s always advisable for P2M. But dynaDish can deliver more that 45km on p2p
Come on, really? Use directional dish for ptmp? ![]()
Also I would really like to see 45km link with DynaDish…
You can use any standalone radio like Netmetal or cheaper Netbox 5 series (AC)
Agreed.
I don’t see 45km out of a 25dBi antenna. I’ve got a 29dBi grid with 802.11a that will push around 15Mbps at 38km. Dynadish doesn’t have the gain. I’d go with the mANT 30dBi and Netmetal 5 or AC. Don’t expect the AC to have much of an advantage and doesn’t have the option for narrow channels, so I’d probably go with N for flexibility. I’ve found that often you get better bandwidth out of narrower channels due to increased signal quality or avoiding noise. Not sure if we’ll ever get narrow channels on AC.
ekpesinyang, not trying to mess with you, but you’re giving bad advice.
Its more preferable to Use Dynadish for such distances.
notice that the better you build with such distance, the better you get especially latency and ping
Why don't you try Mikrotik link test calculator http://www.mikrotik.com/test_link.php for instance ![]()
As I said before, DynaDish wont work for 45km, maybe 20km.
Use mANT30 and Netbox AC. Netmetal only has metal case.
ur right bro.i have not tested yet that distances due to close geographical areas in my country
and i would suggest to use sleeve30 for better performance especially weather conditions
