which one to buy?

Hi,

I want to buy RB1100AHx4 Dude Edition. router os documentation is quite clear regarding proxy setup and which one can be implanted.
few things are not clear when it comes to this device specifically which has SATA support.

I assume the following:

  1. since the device have SATA support I can use the SATA for caching?
  2. normally I wouldn’t need the SATA support since I have proxy in my network, can I forward/transparent proxy using my own server (same vlan)?

if I can use my own proxy (transparent) than the RB4011iGS+RM is more than enough for my home network.
