Which product should I choose

Hey guys, I could use some help here:

Want to bridge a distance with two SXT Lite2 out door

one of the SXT Lite2 should distribute to about 10 other wifi acces points (indoors)

what products should be used to connect those aps (I thougth they could be RB951Ui-2HnD) to the SXT Lite2?

the accespoints should be indoors, and outdoor max distance between SXT Lite2 and an indoors router is 50 m

is it even possible, or should I use other than SXT lite with attachable external antenna, or I just need something other routers with outdoor antennas?

For the outdoor PTP link, consider the 5Ghz SXT to get away from the noise of 2.4Ghz. Do your calculations, if your distance is further than the SXT can handle, then buy the radios and appropriately sized antennas separately.

For the indoor APs, consider the cAP 2n and the CRS125 as the switch.

I’ve not played with it, but apparently, the capsman package will allow you to manage the whole thing from a single console (probably installed on the CRS125).

Good luck!

Thank you for your help Troy!

I second troy advice, going 5GHz for outdoor is the best option; also you’d better not use WDS for indoor SXT2 - AP distribution.

The best solution is always to use cable between the SXT and the indoor APs. If that’s not an option then we would look for another solution (e.g. use a Omnitik, then several Basebox linked to it wirelessly through 5GHz, providing 2.4GHz coverage with a mini-PCIe 2.4Ghz card w/sector antenna).

Depending on indoor area shape, size and construction, and number of simultaneous wireless clients you expect it may suffice with several 951Ui-2HnD if cabling is an option.

Thanks for the input pukita, I’ll take your advices.
