Which product should I use?

I am new to Mikrotik and I am learning about what products are available.

I’m not sure if there is a guide for it but wanted to ask if we have a list to which product can be used in which situation as that might help newbies like me to select the right product,.

For WMAN, there is a Selection Guide for PTPs and also for PTMP.

For the rest, feel free to ask for advice in the forum.

These are only devices used for links. What about home Users?

…are good for home ap, router functions and learning ros.
RB951Ui-2HnD is my favorite one and my first device i bought to experiment with ROS.

It depends, what are your needs? dual band? Gigabit? SFP?

RB951 units have impressive wireless performance, if Routerboads were optics, this would be mikrotik prime 50mm lens on 2,4GHz.

Thanks for the input guys.

I am actually still learning the products and would need to be suggesting MikroTik to the customers which was the reason I wanted to know all the devices and what it has to offer.

Any tips as to where I can start it from?

Apart from that, I’m good with Wireless but my Routing knowledge is poor. Any guide or information that you can suggest as I need a “from scratch” build up for Routing
