Hi,
i have ~ 60 Users that have pppoe sessions to a fujitsu siemens desktop pc running RouterOS 2.9 (2.4GHz Celeron; 512 RAM) since more than 3 years. The machine seems to be slowly dying and so i need to replace it.
I thought i would just replace it with another small desktop PC, but then i saw the latest routerboards with 680 MHz (or faster)
At the moment i wonder if one of these new routerboards can be used for this service:
peer for ~60 VPN pppoe connections
peer ~6 EoIP tunnels (combined 20 MBit max.)
internet proxy for ~60 users
would it be possible to use a routerboard for this, and if yes … which one ?
