Which ROS should I use?

Hi,

In the dowload page for Mikrotik ROS, http://www.mikrotik.com/download.html for RBs or x86 there are two type of downloads are available. One is 2.9.xx release and another one is 3.0rcxx(V3 release candidate). I have both Routerboards in APs , client units and x86 as my core router. What is the difference between these packages.. the contents seems to be same… :frowning: . Which one I have to choose 2.9.xx or 3.0.rc.xx. Please advise… :slight_smile:.

v2 is stable and tested.
v3 has more features, but is not yet finalized and has not been tested so much.
