Which router for later 802.11ac upgrade?

Hi all,

I need to expand wireless network with a new outdoor router. Because currently no 802.11ac router frim mikrotik is available I’d like to buy a board which I can upgrade later. Later on when the 802.11ac radios are available upgrading with miniPCIe card could do the job? What do you think?
As far as I know the 1300MBit ac needs more antennas. So my outdoor housing must also be prepared for that.

Can you recommend a package of routerboard, omni antenna and housing? May the BaseBox2 be some kind of device(http://routerboard.com/RB912UAG-2HPnD-OUT)?

Thank you!
Toby

Basebox is a very good choice, since it has a free miniPCIe slot, and enough places for antennas (5)

I am also using Basebox and I am not sure if you can get any better router than this at the moment. I am using it for more than 3 months and I don’t have any kind of problem with it.

Good to hear that my decision was correct  Now I just need two omni antennas. Are there variants with higher vertical beam width? Standard is 16°…
My signal should reach the users also near the antennas.
