Hi
I have a RB133 and would like to know if it has sufficient CPU usage for the following
3 WDS connections to 3 different routers
+= 20 wireless clients
PPPOE server connected to a remote radius server to give the wireless clients internet
5 EOIP tunnels all terminating at the RB and then bridged together
So is my RB133 able to cope with the above?
Hai,
No, RB133 CPE’s designed. i think you will nice to sleep when you are using RB532 minimum.
You really think that I should upgrade?? I tried reading the manual to calculate which RB I would need but I got no where…
Is there anywhere were I can find how much CPU usage each service utilizes? thanks

there is no way to determine CPU usage without exact configuration, and even then it depends on traffic kind and amount.
you should get a rb400 series because 133 is really meant as a CPE
Here’s few stupid questions
Does 433AH @800 MHz work better than some AMD/INTEL @3000 MHz? Is routerboard processor more efficient when talking about nstreaming?
In other words, if you had 3-4 wireless cards working @5Ghz + nstream, would you rather use rb or pc, and what would expected throughput be?
Thanks
I would thing an intel pc would be better
