I have two backhaul units running and Im trying to figure out which one is which.
Unit A
Signal Strength is 83
Tx Signal is 71
Tx/Rx CCQ is 52/88
Unit B
Signal Strength is 72
Tx Signal is 83
Tx/Rx is 83/ 71
Is the signal strength of Unit A is what is coming from Unit B? Also is the Tx/Rx from unit A telling me that the Tx is going to Unit B and the Rx is receiving from unit B. I have read the manual and I cant seem to find a clear cut definition as to which one is refering to which unit. help in understanding on how to read this would be appriciated
Looks like -90 for the floor. But how do you read what site is related to the information show, in example Unit A “signal strength 83” is that what A see’s coming from Unit B? What about the other values, how does that relate to which unit?
Ouch. -90 is a bad noise floor. What that means is at unit A there is more noise than at unit B, so the signal strength is worse at the A location. I’m sure if you look at the noise floor at B it will be somewhere around -100-110. -91 is the threshold on most cards. You should try to manage spectrum with the other wisps around you, or if you are causing all that noise yourself… figure out why!
