Can you please tell me which version of MT 3.x best to use with hotspot

Guess it is now v3.17

But i think for hotspot and cache proxy best vrsion is 3.9
Does 3.9 allow advertisements AND is it reliable enough, or does it also have the problem I discovered (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/advertisement-during-edit-of-yahoo-email-hangs-firefox/25448/1) ?
