I have a star-topology network with a central RB433AH and 5 RB433As connected to it via OpenVPN. I need a stable and robust VPN connection from all the satellite locations to the central location. I’ve had some stability problems with OpenVPN (first one of the connections won’t get reestablished automatically and secondly one OpenVPN connection was seen as active but no traffic would pass through, it was dead. Perhaps this was also due to having 3.10 RouterOS on all the MikroTiks, although I haven’t seen any OpenVPN-related changes from 3.10 to 3.26 in CHANGELOG.
What VPN type are you using in your environments for network-to-network topologies (connecting MikroTiks with MikroTiks)?
