Which WDS mode do I need?

Hi there guys, I need some advice as to the best way to setup my mikrotiks.

I have an RB2011 which is setup and working great as an AP

I want to extend the wireless network using an sxt 2nd r2 plugged into the poe port on the rb2011

I’ve set that port up to be on the same bridge and as a WDS slave but the sxt doesn’t seem to be extending the network yet!

What wireless mode do I need?

Don’t use wds at all. Hope you have level 4 licence in the sxt. Set the sxt wlan in Ap bridge mode, join the wlan and ethernet in common bridge and put the ethernet wire into the Rb2011 bridged land port. Set the wifi in the same way like the wifi of Rb2011 is.

AFAIK Level 3 RouterOS does not support AP mode for wireless…

Bad luck. You need level 4.
