White holes

Hi. Can someone explain this white holes to me? Is this a problem to worry about?

This is because winbox could not poll the values for that time period. This is common if your winbox workstation is on a slow network, if the router is really busy, if your machine is busy, etc. This doesn’t mean that you weren’t passing traffic at that time however.

100 Mb/s network, max router CPU load 5%, max watching comp CPU load 1-2%, at next picture wide arrows shows when traffic not passed throu router…

Can it be bad network card (i’m using realtek chip cards) or some other hardware?

so the router actually stops routing at that time ? I am guessing its a bad network card, bad cable, misconfigured speed settings (auto / half duplex), etc.

yes, you better make sure if there is Actually no traffic at that time, or the Winbox graph is just missing some data (more likely)
