my question about the feature in mikrotik cache(web proxy) and Squid ?Who is the best and fastest mikrotik cache(web proxy) or Squid ?

Can you rely on only mikrotik cache ؟

Found Mikrotik proxy to slow down web browsing for me. Have tried it through the years with different versions, same result. Mabe it is just me and these day i make use of multiple wan’s and could not yet get it to work this way at all.

Squid is a dedicated proxy software that has been developed for 15 years with that purpose in mind. Obviously is has more features as proxy software.

You can also load it on a dedicated appliance/server with specs of your choosing, and it won’t have to perform all the other tasks a router performs. So if you choose good hardware, it will obviously be faster.
