Why is "system halted" not "power-off"?

When I input “sys\shutdown”, it only halted the system, not power off the computer. Why?

Routerboard equipment doesn’t have a “soft power” setup like most Windows-capable pc’s. The pc’s shut down (but not really) when you select shut down from the main menu. They are not really “shut down”, but almost like “system halted”. Power is still provided to a few components inside the pc for “wake-on” functions, like “wake-on-LAN”, “wake-on-keystroke”, etc.

But it can power-off the computer in V3.3 when I input “sys\shutdown”.

My bad. My only experience with the RouterOS is RouterBoard equipment. They do not shut off the power when shut down. Maybe someone else that uses this OS on pcs will be able to help. Maybe if you mention the version you are having a challenge with would help.

AFAIR, v4 shuts down the x86 completely

But I use v3.20, What should I do to power-off the computer by use command?
Can it be fixed in v3.20?

yes, 3.20 can be fixed by upgrading to v4
