Hello as we can read the description of the Basebox5 http://routerboard.com/RB912UAG-5HPnD-OUT it should have the power jack which I consider absolutely necessary to ensure a minimum level of security to Ether1.
I have bought some pcs of this new product and with my surprise all devices are without power jack.
I hope that MT has initially produced the Basebox5 without power jack and insert that in the future.
Basebox5 with power jack with new antennas mANT30 could be a great system for P2P networks. We ask you if all Basebox5 are not equipped with power jack or only the ones that I bought.

Al massimo colleghi solo blu e marroni nell’RJ45 che va all’ether1…

the card features datasheet, on routerboard.com, talk about the separate power supply and ether1 with POE while those I bought have only the POE, in any case this is wrong. I prefer to have separate power supply because the ethernet, and in this case we have only one, makes the link generally more durable because the Ether1 works only to data transport.
Ciao il datasheet della scheda presenta l’alimentazione separata ed il POE mentre quelle da me acquistate hanno solamente il POE questo è quantomeno sbagliato. Preferisco avere l’alimentazione separata perchè la ethernet, ed in questo caso ne abbiamo solamente una, rende il link in generale più duraturo considerato che la ether1 si occupa solo del trasporto.
