The hardware is good, and fast. Even the cheap units are fast.
MikroTik can not predict what you need configured, so it is a very basic configuration. Even then, it will pass 200~500mbps. If it is slow, then it is because you did something wrong.
Coming here and complaining about how bad it is will not get anyone to help you.

Exactly. So far there are just few from all those hundreds thousands that have enough time to spend it abusing here. I believe we can handle them easily. I think that such people should have their voices here too, otherwise the picture about the mikrotik community could not be complete. Do a system reset. Leave default config. It works out of the box.
You don’t have to configure it, if you are not sure what each setting does. Just leave it at defaults and it will work. If your speed is lower than some other device, most likely it means you are comparing it to a different kind of device (bigger antennas, etc).
