its my first time to work with user-manager , i did everything in wiki , its running , a user showen in user :
subscriber=sam name="00:16:E6:56:5D:46" password="" ip-address=192.168.1.101 pool-name="dhcp_pool1"
rate-limit=" 128k/256k" last-seen=sep/09/2007 02:56:55 credit-count=0 credit-left=0s credit-duration=0s

and in log it shows succesfull :

but in active users = 0 , active sessions =0 , and i user-view every things are = 0 !!!
why all these are = 0 ??
i’m using DHCP only ..
and if i’m using DHCP only whts the advantages from using user-manager ??? i can make it static DHCP from leases this will bind mac to IP , what else i can do with user-manager ???
