I have successfully done the netinstall. I haven’t got 100% clear idea to what to install. I just followed the steps.
I want to reset the router to factory settings. So I followed the press the button and power plug wait till usr button to flash. Then unpresed the button. Then my router wi fi disconnected. And tried few other times, waited few hours. Not working. So Ive decided to do a netinstall, and i did it.
Still wi fi is not discoverable. Please help. I am a newbi.
Which device model is it? Screenshot is short … says RBD5… which I gather is either hAP ac2 or hAP ac3. In which case you have to install wifi-qcom**-ac** driver package … And you don’t need wireless driver package (it’s legacy and provides lower performance … but does support some nice legacy features … which I guess you don’t need).
After you finish netinstall, connect using winbox and reset config to factory default.
