Using Ookla’s web speed test from a desktop PC wired to a RB760iGS my ISP delivers the expected ~750/400Mbps dl/ul.
When I connect the same PC, which has a Wi-Fi 7 card, through a TP-Link EX511 in AP mode wired to the RB760iGS it gets no more than 400/400Mbps dl/ul. The RF connection between the PC and the AP is shown as Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) 5GHz @ 2401/2401Mbps.
I also executed the exact same steps using a laptop with Wi-Fi 6 card at a distance of ~1m from the AP to ensure the distance of the desktop wasn’t the problem and got the exact same result.
There is a gigabit switch connecting all wired devices to the RB760iGS.
