wi-fi trouble when play online games

Hello. I need your help.

I have router Mikrotik RB951G. I connect to him via Wi-Fi.
When I tried download smth my speed is 6 MB\SEC (all ok).
When I start CS:GO or another online game, ping to mikrotik is down, game not work.
When I connect to mikrotik cable - game work good, ping not lose.


What I need to adjust to the online-game working??

For online gaming,

Always use a cable where possible.

You could change the frequency and update ros and firmware to the latest versions.

Did you try testing with a different computer?

It could be a bad wifi card in the computer or issue, or the mikrotik router’s wifi card could be faulty.
