wierd connection to my router

Hey guys,

I have a certain Ip that is connected to my rb751g. I have already created a firewall rule to drop all packets from that ip but in the connections tab it still says

U xx.xx.xx.xx (src) 224.0.0.1(Dst) 2(igmp)

Anyone know what that ip is trying to do?

Read somewhere that 224.0.0.1 is the “all-hosts” address. Your router is announcing across the LAN that it is indeed a router.
