WiFi not connecting to WAN

Hi ,
I have a MiKrotik router working by ethenet cable but I cant get a connection after connecting
by WiFi. I set the gateway for the WiFi IP address for the WAN but still no traffic.

Can someone help me fix this?

Regards
Rob

Well, Rob, there is a need for a lot more information to be able to help … like ..

-what MT router ?
-what is the configuration? Gateway (Home AP) or just access point ? It depends on details, so the file yourfilename.rsc created with “/export hide-sensitive file=yourfilename” should be attached.
-using the WAN port on the MT?
-got a DHCP address lease on that WAN port ? Or did you set it manually? (IP address/netmask and then added default route to gateway, and a DNS server?)
-can you connect (ping) from the MT to the Internet ?
-does the client get an IP address and default gateway and DNS ?

thank you , I am new and will post the config file later.
Its the MikroTik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN in home access point mode with DHCP enabled and
the beta (latest) firmware with wireguard.

It connects ok via cable its just the WiFi is not connecting me to the internet . I have set the
gateway IP for the WiFi the same as the LAN port 2 which I connect on./

Thank you very muchit is much appreciated, such a fast router compared to DrayTek and others.
