I’ve got a deployment of a load of HAP AX2’s as work from home boxes. They do a VPN back to the office and provide wifi with RADIUS authentication provided from servers in the office.
I’m seeing failed attempts to authenticate to the wifi by “VCM” which is not a user that exists. This has happened on several boxes now as well as an AP in the office that isn’t Mikrotik.
I could see it being a user with a misconfigured device causing this in a single home site and the office but more than one seems unlikely. Anyone know what might be trying to authenticate as VCM (anything known like Android scanning for example) or am I looking at a user having an affair?!
