WiFi Wave2 CAPsMAN Lokal CAP fails

I hope sombady can help ne. My setting is a hAP ax² as CAPsMAN and CAP (Master) also second hAP ax² is present as CAP (Slave).
The Slave worrks perfect but the Master don’t works as CAP. Settings are the same as fare as possible.

The attached file explains the problem. I can’t explain ist and hope somebody hase a hint for me.

The local radios are not connected to the wifi interfaces, it should look like for the second CAP.

In few words: I can’t run CAPsMAN and a CAP on the same device.

You don’t have to … and you’re not supposed to. Wifiwave2 and capsman2 share setup, so you should provision local wifiwave2 interfaces directly, just use same security profiles (datapaths can be different)..

All the bells and whistles that capsman2 brings (better station mobility) require that single control plane instance manages the interfaces … and local wave2 interfaces are, after all, managed by same instance as capsman2 ones.

It works.

But i don’t see any better station mobility, my devices don’t change the station to stations with better signal. I have to figure out why.

Is FT activated on capsman config ?

EDIT: security or configuration, tab FT, enable “FT Enabled” and “FT over DS”

it was’t active. I will try it out.

I should really read more carefully the documentation
