there is no way to give you this configuration “in a file”. it has to be configured directly in the router, some of it, directly in the user manager interface, some in SSH.
You could do as i did.
Temporarily,.. It s a little isky.. because you open your routerbox up to hackers for the time being. I havent had any problems yet though…
Then once your configrations are done… you change the IP address and DNS on the routerboard to the new iP and DNS on your local netwok. Then assign it a new gateway,… and No one wll be the wisest…
setup your routerboard directly to the internet.
give it a static IP on the net.
then you will be able to Winbox into that IP address.
Then all you have to do is to setup a username and password for the technician which has “Full” read and write privleges.
Then pay someone to Winbox into that IP address and perform the configurations.
Private message me and I will give you the ip address of my setup so you can see what i am talking about.
Im just trying to give you an option to your configuration needs.
I am able to stumble through configurations on my routers; just like alot of others here. I am by no means an expert. nor close to it.
I just know what I have did with my routers when I had to have someone remotely do configurations.
I am saying that I have a router setup for remote configurations and I can give you the ip address to that router with a read only login to see how to set it up for remote access.
I have alot of junk I need to clean up on this router and I would have to explain it step by step to you.
But, I am willing to do that for you.
sorry about that..
I joined this forum a couple years ago right before the Army called me up to deploy to Iraq. I just noticed that this forum doesnt allow its private messaging?? (kinda odd??)
