I have set my rb TX-Power to manual and changed all the data rates to 20dbi. How much mwatt does 20dbi equals? In my country it is ilegal to go over 100mw. Well ihave changed mine to 20dbi and now my connection between office and home is constantly 19dbi. When mt TX-power was set to default then it would normally jump around between 10 and 23. Wil this constant 19dbi cause the RB to get hotter and work harder? And can it cause problem.
20dBm is 100mW. if you have set your card over it’s default setting, you can burn it down, be careful. use this setting only to reduce power.
